Andrea M. Henson is an Attorney at Singer & Scott, P.C., specializing in all aspects of real estate litigation.

Andrea’s legal career includes diverse legal experience spanning state and federal courts and clients throughout California. Her background includes general civil litigation, civil rights litigation, landlord/tenant, housing, and criminal defense.  Her strengths include negotiations, collaborating with city, county, and state leaders/agencies/boards, and communications.

Andrea received her undergraduate degree from University of California, Riverside where she studied Ethnic Studies and Philosophy. She obtained her law degree from the University of the District of Columbia. Additionally, Andrea has a Master of Science degree in Information Systems from George Washington University.  

In addition to her legal practice, Andrea is a nationally known civil rights and social justice activist.  She serves on the Board of Directors at Glide Memorial church in San Francisco and is the Chair of the Board of Directors for Where Do We Go?, a nonprofit dedicated to material aid and advocacy for the unhoused, located in Berkeley, California.

Andrea is a recent recipient of the 2024 Outstanding Volunteers in Public Service Award from the Justice and Diversity Center of the Bar Association of San Francisco for her volunteer legal work on the Northern District of California’s Pro Bono Program.
